A bit of background…

Orden Beauty is a veteran in beauty industry consulting. They partner with independent beauty and wellness brands looking to reach new heights by elevating their strategy and honing in on their potential. Their industry knowledge and visionary thoughtfulness take their clients to international retailers such as Nordstrom, Whole Foods, Target, Amazon, and more.

While at Wildern, we partnered with Orden Beauty on several brands, using their experienced vision and strategy to create modern and effective brand identities, websites, and packaging solutions. Eventually, founder Erin Orden tapped us to elevate Orden Beauty as they entered a new stage in their evolution. Touchpoints include a new logo and brand identity, print design, website & digital design, and illustration.

Solution

Capturing the vision(ary)

Hand drawn textures, paint splatter, pencil scratches, and paper scraps — the raw and evocative nature of Erin Orden’s thought process & creative vision. Structured typography and gridded lines — the strategic execution of Ana Armstrong’s method & management. To capture the complementary nature of the two owners’ partnership, I combined analog and digital media, utilizing bright pops of color, erratic texture, and an intentional layout to create a visual experience that felt authentic to their unique approach.
